Russian-born illustrator / animation director residing in Japan.
ロシア出身、日本在住のイラストレーター・アニメーション監督。
About Ilya Kuvshinov
Studied drawing, painting and architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow.
In 2014, he moved his base of activities to Japan and started freelancing for Japanese game industry.
In 2016, he released his first art book “Momentary”.
In 2017, he joined the Japanese animation industry, working on the film “Birthday Wonderland”, new “Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045”series, and more.
In 2022, directorial debut with “Let You Down” Music Video for “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners”.
In 2024, series episode directorial debut with “Dead Dead Demon’s De Dedede Destruction” EP#03
Currently working as episode director and animation director on different anime series and movies.
モスクワの美術学院でデッサンや水彩画、建築などを学ぶ。
2014年に活動拠点を日本に移し、ゲーム業界でフリーランスとして活動を開始。
2016年には初画集『Momentary』を出版。
2017年から日本のアニメ業界に参加し、『バースデー・ワンダーランド』、『攻殻機動隊 SAC_2045』のキャラクターデザインなどを担当。
2022年には『Cyberpunk: Edgerunners』のMV『Let You Down』の監督、脚本、絵コンテなどを担当する。
2024年には『デッドデッドデーモンズデデデデデストラクション』3話の絵コンテ・演出・作監・原画を担当。
現在はアニメの演出や作監をしながら、イラスト、ゲーム、広告業界でも活動中。
